Gameplay Footage From Nvidia Gives You Another Reason To Play Destiny 2

Gameplay Footage From Nvidia Gives You Another Reason To Play Destiny 2

Before Bungie announced Destiny 2, the fans never expected the sequel to embrace the graphical limitations. The game was expected to be played at 30fps across all three platforms. But much to our surprise, Nvidia released a first-look trailer of Destiny 2, being played at 60fps and in 4K resolution.

The result?

Smooth and satisfying to watch.

However, it’ll stay at 30fps for the consoles. Some gamers prefer the 30fps limit, while some like to experience the 60. Regardless of the wars going on between the three platforms, it always comes down to the player’s feel and perspective.

5 Things You Would Have Missed In The Destiny 2’s Reveal Trailer

5 Things You Would Have Missed In The Destiny 2’s Reveal Trailer

Last week, Destiny fans got to witness the highly anticipated sequel’s new reveal trailer. While the trailer is gripping and entertaining through the end, many would have missed certain details that appear in it. To bring those moments back to you, here are the 5 things that you would have missed in the trailer.

Lord Shaxx Survived the Attack on the Last City

As seen in the picture above, the Crucible Quartermaster Lord Shaxx is being seen with the guardians surrounding Commander Zavala. It looks like he survived that last attack and has returned in the sequel to avenge the fallen.

Various Cabal Units

Destiny fans would know who the Cabal are and how they look like. But, going by the rule book to any sequel, Destiny 2 will feature new Cabal units that vary in personalities and attack style. This is an old time strategy to spice things up and introduce new enemies. One such unit looks like a hound with a shark’s head.

This freak show looks like a creation made by a super psycho maniac, who wants to mess things up among the already messed-up things.

Luckily, the next Cabal unit looks a bit sane.

It seems to pose a threat by weilding twin solar blades and has a centurion’s gear. These units can prove a real tank on the battlefield.

Ikora Rey is a Stormcaller

If you are wondering what Warlock subclass Ikora Rey is, she is a stormcaller. If she has already been one, it makes one wonder as to why she wasn’t added to the game until The Taken King expansion.

Cayde-6 Wields Ace of Spades

Speaking of the Taken King expansion, it roped in a bunch of class-specific exotics along with it. The Hunter class’ exotic is the Ace of Spades, which was originally thought to be a Cayde-6 inspired weapon. But, it appears that it actually is his weapon in the first place.

The Tower Is No More

While addressing the guardians, Commander Zavala states that the Cabal led by Ghaul have destoryed the city along with the tower. Cayde adds more information to it, that the vaults are also destroyed along with it, which means all the player items are gone too.

That being said, the guardians must form a strong army to fight against the Cabal and kill Ghaul and retake their city back from them. How the players get to do this forms the rest of the story.

Destiny 2’s Gameplay Event Will Go Live On May 18

Destiny 2’s Gameplay Event Will Go Live On May 18

Destiny 2’s domination over the video game media continues, as Bungie keeps revealing new information to the fans. Following the relatively important details, Bungie threw some light about an upcoming live event.

While the fans are relishing Destiny 2’s thrilling and hilarious announce trailer, Bungie revealed that there will be a gameplay livestream event held on May 18. The broadcast is set to focus on the variety of fun and action, the game has to offer.

The entire duration of the livestream will offer a peek at the game’s missions and how significantly the gameplay has changed since its prequel. The event will also show the huge difference in the interaction between the players and the game’s content. This is the very part, that the fans are excited to witness.

That being said, there might not be any considerable change in the gameplay, provided a few differences as stated before.

Launch Trailer, Arrival To PC, Content Leak – Destiny 2’s News Domination

Launch Trailer, Arrival To PC, Content Leak – Destiny 2’s News Domination

Destiny 2 has hit the news at a fast rate in a short period of time, with major annoucements and rumours tagging along. The fans are up for a big inflow of information; big enough to be overwhelmed. So, let’s put them down one by one.

The first piece of information happened a little earlier today, when Bungie released Destiny 2’s launch trailer. Following the recent poster leaks and the speculations and rants that accompanied with it, Bungie decided to move forward with their marketing campaign, by putting out a release trailer.

The trailer has turned out to be thrilling and hilarious at the same time, owing to the strong contrast in speeches between the two main characters. One of them is Commander Zavala, who is a master of conviction and strong words and he wields them perfectly to stir up the confidence and morale of the group. On the other hand, we have the ever hilarious Cayde, who has no speech skill and he goes around making things funny in an attempt to motivate his men.

The story goes that the Cabal have attacked and destroyed the tower and the cities, leaving many guardians dead. The players will have to fight and take back their homeland. The trailer has neatly blended in this thin storyline, while still maintaining the entertainment factor.

Check out the trailer.

Yeah! Who would not want a big loot? The perfect motivation, we would say. We got to agree with Cayde on this one.

Anyway, moving on with the next piece of information, Bungie announced that Destiny 2 will have an expansive beta. This beta will be available to all players, regardless of the pre-order status. Hence, every Destiny player will have an access to the sequel. The retailers will provide early beta access codes, which can be redeemed on via a Bungie account. The players will be notified later via email, when the download is ready.

Bungie has no plans in making a second beta event. They are looking to meet the expectations with just this one. It is actually a good thing, that all players are allowed to play the beta. It goes to prove, that Bungie are smart in fan interactions and game support.

After Bungie released the launch trailer and made the beta announcement, they went on to reveal that Destiny 2 will be available for PC. Sweet news isn’t it, PC gamers? But, one important fact to be noticed here, is that first person shooters are easy to play on PC. This would make many console gamers shift to PC to play this game, degrading the console community. On the other hand, developers will have a problem with optimizing the game for PC and creating a balance between PC and consoles.

It remains to be seen, how Bungie tackles these situations. I’m personally happy, that the game has come to PC, regardless of the pluses and minuses it brings along.

The final piece of information is a rumour, which is yet to be confirmed. It is actually a huge leak of details on the limited and collected editions’ content details. These details came out of a spanish retail store, instead of Bungie. Retailers are doing a fine job nowadays, by letting out valuable information before a game’s launch. Earlier, we had Destiny’s poster leaks from a retailer, then we had Red Dead Redemption’s launch date leak from another retailer and now we have this…

No, I didn’t mean the Cabal, I meant the content leak.

Collector’s Edition

  • Destiny 2 game
  • Expansions I and II including quests, coop activities, multiplayer content and tons of armor and gear
  • Legendary sword DLC
  • Legendary emote DLC
  • Cabal empire emblem DLC
  • “Frontier” physical bag you can carry around with a 15″ tablet pocket
  • “Frontier” kit including USBcharger with solar panel
  • A paracord
  • A solar rug
  • Limited edition steelbook
  • Collector’s edition cabal themed premium box, including a notebook, a map, and collectibles such as postcards and “pawns from the Empire”

Limited Edition

  • Destiny 2 base game
  • Expansions I and II
  • The DLC noted in the Collector’s Edition
  • The steelbook
  • The premium box and all the stuff inside

The content leak could be false, as it isn’t confirmed by Bungie. So, for the time being, let’s act like we didn’t read it and instead bask upon the happiness of the launch trailer and the game’s PC arrival.

Phew! That was a long post to compile.

Destiny 2 Is Available For Pre-Order At German GameStop Stores

Destiny 2 Is Available For Pre-Order At German GameStop Stores

This past week was filled with various controversies over the poster leak of Destiny 2. Some say it was a legitimate one, while some say it is not. Furthermore, the poster had a PS4 logo on its top left corner and fans became to speculate, that the arrival of this game is confirmed and is going to be a PS4 exclusive. Bungie didn’t make any official statements or announcements about these controversies and speculations.

However, GameStop customers here in Germany, needn’t wait for further reveals. Destiny 2 is currently available for pre-order in German GameStop stores and the best part of it is, the pre-order is for PC. This small news alone is enough to destroy the speculations the playstation fans had, over the game being exclusive on PS4.

This piece of information came through a post made by twitter user SenSnowy, who shared an image of his pre-order receipt. The receipt shows, that the pre-order was made in the Hannover branch of GameStop.

This post of his reveals that, the game is a limited edition version and is set to be released on Sep 17, 2017. However, the GameStop employees told that this is just a placeholder date and the actual date isn’t confirmed.

Following up the above post, he came up with another image showing the bottom of the receipt. It looks like the other games FIFA 18, Tekken 7 and Red Dead Redemption are also available for pre-order.

Intrestingly though, following these posts, GameStop has limited the availability of the pre-orders. It can’t be said if it was the right move, provided over 100 GameStop stores are shutting down following the revenue loss.

This space will be updated if any further details are gathered. Keep track for more updates on the game.

New Posters Surface Suggesting The Arrival Of Destiny 2

New Posters Surface Suggesting The Arrival Of Destiny 2

Earlier today, the Xbox fans saw the leaked image of Xbox games with gold for the month of April. Later in the day, a couple of potentially legitimate posters and promotional artwork surfaced online, that revealed the arrival of Bungie’s Destiny 2.

Take a look at this pic.

This image shows the release date at the top of the poster as September 8. Apart from the release date, there are Italian words seen in the poster. One of them says, “beta in anticipio”, which means “beta available in advance” in Italian. This would mean, that the fans would able to play the game before hand, prior its official release.

As the left portion of image shows, this pic has leaked out of the Gamestop office in Italy. If fans look closely enough, there can be another Italian phrase seen which reads, “lega dei guardiani” in the lower left box, which means “alliance of the Guardians”.

Though these posters and information seem legit, the arrival of the game cannot be confirmed unless Activision makes an official announcement. But, many opinions and theorists that were formed out of this poster leak, suggest that there would infact be a sequel to Destiny. After all, Activision did say that the game’s release date will be falling later in the year of 2017.
