Activision has announced that Call of Duty : Modern Warfare Remastered, will get a new DLC. The DLC is named Variety Map Pack and includes remastered versions of the maps that came with the original DLC.
The first among the images is Chinatown. The stage is set in a foggy downtown district, that holds a drastic similarity to China. Being a re-imagined version of the original Call of Duty multiplayer map “Carentan”, every building in the map can be used as a perfect ambush. Players will need to be careful, as the attack can come in from any direction.
Creek is set in a wide open village ravaged by combat. Hence, it is hard to conceal onself from getting killed. The map is split by a ravine and holds cliffs covered with forests, making them a great spot for snipers. Running around in the open is suicide.
A training warehouse, otherwise called as Killhouse, is relatively small in area and contains many blind spots. The players need to stay alert at all times and have to be ready for close-quarters fights and chaos.
Lastly, Broadcast is based on the TV station from the campaign mission “Charlie Don’t Surf”. It provides a perfect blend of confined corridors and open-wide spaces. The area outside the station provides clear sight of everything that moves, but the inside of the station is crampled broadcast related stuff lying all around the rooms. Hence, there will be a lot of hiding spots in this map.
With that being said, the Variety Map Pack is priced at $15 and comes out on March 21 across all platforms.
