This news would make one wonder, “What is Microsoft not capable of doing?”. First, it began with operating systems, then tried its luck in gaming with Xbox which turned out for the better and now it has decided to launch subscription passes for the Xbox games.
The service called ‘Xbox game pass’, offers unlimited access to over a hundred Xbox one and Xbox 360 titles. They include Halo 5, Payday 2, NBA 2K16, LEGO Batman and many other fan favourite titles. New games will be added to the catalogue and the older ones will be removed at the end of every month. Hence, you will have a wide variety of games to choose from. Moreover, it allows you to play across multiple genres, from action/adventure and family favourites to shooters, sport, puzzle games and more.
The games will be downloaded to the console and can be played either online or offline, without any streaming or connectivity issues. Subscribers to this pass will be given a 20% discount on purchasing a game from the catalogue and also get a 10% off on all related add-ons. The discounts on the add-one will be available only if the base game is bought.

Microsoft stated that this was an attempt to build a larger community on Xbox Live and provide diverse title to play from. The pass will be available from late spring this year and will be priced at $9.99 / £7.99 per month.
