Have you heard about the studio that co-developed the game Doom along with id-Software?
No? Well, they are called Escalation studios. The studio worked on the game’s level-editor, SnapMap.
So, why are they in the news now?
The parent company of Bethesda, Zenimax have announced their acquisition of Escalation. After the acquisition, Escalation has begun to work on many projects alongside other studios owned by Zenimax. The other studios include Arkane, id Software, Machine Games, Tango GameWorks, and Battlecry Studios.
The group just got bigger and so will their future games be.
