More light has been shed on Diablo 3’s necromancer class

More light has been shed on Diablo 3’s necromancer class

The dark magic of necromastery has always fascinated and excited me on many levels. To a bored mind which is used to playing many ever-positive protagonists, joining forces with the dark side has always been my preference.

A couple of months ago, there was a news from Blizzard Entertainment that Diablo 3 will have a new DLC featuring necromancer class. This came as a happy news for me, as I finally got to re-experience the role of a dark sorcerer.

Speaking of light vs dark, the battle went real on a Q and A session, when the light was shed on the necromancer class by the Diablo 3’s team. The team comrpised of the trio, Lead Effects artist Julian Love, Senior Game Designer Travis Day and Community Manager Brandy Camel.

There are more info present on their 47 minute, Q and A session. I’ll put down the improtant highlights here

  • The necro in Diablo 3 is much different than witch doctor and will not use poison.
  • The irom maiden will have melee options for battle which includes two-handed scythes.
  • Necromancer class will include golems, and currently four or five new types of golems are being developed.
  • Decrepify will be included in the necro’s arsenal.
  • You must own the Reaper of Souls to play the Necromancer DLC.

You can view the entire session on Diablo’s youtube channel.

How excited are you guys about playing around with dark magic? Comment your thoughts.

More details on Mass Effect:Andromeda

More details on Mass Effect:Andromeda

The upcoming RPG’s cinematic trailer and info on the squad mates were revealed last week. But Bioware didn’t stop there and still continues to give us some minute details on the game.

Recently, the team took it out on twitter to answer a question on cross-play support.

One of the fans asked if the game’s multiplayer mode would have the cross-play feature between different gaming platforms/consoles. The producer, Fernando Melo assured that there will be no cross-play for the game, just like Mass Effect 3. Hence, the game is going to remain peer to peer.

Well, it is unfortunate as cross-play will be fun, but at the same time it might not be feasible at the moment.

In addition to the cross-play info, Bioware confirmed that Andromeda’s PC version will have uncapped frame rate. Many gamers prefer this, as the fps can be adjusted as per their requirements instead of just locking it to one value. However, the GPU gets destroyed in all sorts.

I don’t think we will have any more important info on the game after this. The next possible update on Andromeda would be for the beta test.

Former GTA 5 boss, reveals a new game much different than GTA

Former GTA 5 boss, reveals a new game much different than GTA

Have you guys heard of Leslie Benzies?

To those who don’t, he is the former president of Rockstar North and is now currently involved in a law suit over GTAV.

Law suit? What are you talking about?

To answer that, we need to look up to the sky or the ceiling and create a spiral visual as we go into the flashback.

According to Rockstar, Leslie was reported to be having considerable performance and conduct issues. This led to his resignation in January 2016. In April, he sued Rockstar Games for a whopping $150 million in royalties and claimed that he was forced out. However, Rockstar’s parent company, Take-two saw it otherwise. They said his claims were without merit and were bizzare.

Okay, it’s time to look back down. The flashback is over.

At present, that is all the info I got on this case. I’ll be updating if I get anything more.

Coming back to the new announcement, Leslie has lauched a new studio and announced its first game. The yet unnamed studio has two offices. One is Edinburgh, Scotland and the other in LA, California. He opened it along with other former GTA developers Colin Entwistle and Matthew Smith. The studio now has 30 people running it.

Colin, Mathew and Leslie

The game is surprisingly titled as “Everywhere”. Living up to it name, the open world game has a gameplay just like GTA, allowing players to go anywhere and do anything.

Benzies was quoted saying, “Everywhere has a lot of traditional game mechanics, but we’re going for something more that draws inspiration from, well, everywhere. Players are getting smarter and require more from their games, and we want players to have the real freedom to live in our worlds in the ways they want to. We’re aiming to offer a huge variety of game modes and styles that not only tell our stories but also enable players to live in the identities and adventures they most want to explore”

The game is being dev-ed with Amazon’s Lumberyard engine. The specs however, aren’t specified yet.

So, what is your take on this? How good do you think, the game would turn out to be?  Comment in your thoughts.

Ubisoft reveals a new character in Rainbow Six:Seige

Ubisoft reveals a new character in Rainbow Six:Seige

“Alright, men! Listen Up!”

“By now, you would have known about the new map, Velvet shell.”

“I received new intel today from the HQ, Ubisoft. They have revealed one of the blokes who will be joining the play as the Spanish operator. He goes by the name, Ryad Ramirez Al-Hassar.”

“Codename : Jackal”

“Presumably an attacker. He will sport the C7E and PDW9 as his primary weapons, and the ITA 12S and USP 40 as his secondaries.”

“I was sent this piece of clip along with the info”

“The HQ didn’t reveal about his abilities though. Kept a secret to maintain the curiosity.”

“However, this video shows that he meddles with his headset to enable him to see the footsteps, the opponents left behind”

“Looks like this boy is in for sneak attacks and tracking”

“His backstory looks a mess. He and his brother got screwed up in a case of street violence. He survived somehow, but his brother…dead.”

“Then, took it up on himself to uncover his brother’s mystery death. So, joined the Cuerpo Nacional de Policia and later moved on to Grupo Especial de Operaciones.

“What is your take on him, men?”

Two new modes and skins coming for dead rising 4

Two new modes and skins coming for dead rising 4

The two new difficulty modes for the game are hard and ultra-hard. In these modes, the weapons break down faster and whatever food Frank consumes, the amount of health restored will be lesser than it would in the lower difficulty levels.

But that’s not all. Look what we have here.

These are street fighter costumes that Frank can wear. The costumes include Zangief, Guile, M. Bison, and T. Hawk. If you are getting excited that you would be able to use the abilities of these fighters while playing Frank, you are wrong. You can only give their skins to Frank but not their abilities.

From what I perceive, in the ultra-hard mode you could die at the hands of a cat-zombie let alone the ex-humans.

Are you guys excited for the game?

It’s landslide in Sapienza

It’s landslide in Sapienza

Square Enix has released a trailer on Hitman’s upcoming bonus mission titled, ‘Landslide’.

Set in Sapienza, 47’s new target is a business man Marco Abiatti. The latter has got links to the mafia and is a politician with ambitions of becoming the mayor. 47 has to stop this from happening.

The mission will be available on January 31. On the same date, a new difficulty level called, ‘Professional’ will be launched. This level will be more challenging as you need to be walking around killing people like a ninja, being sneaky, quick, safe and careful.

The image below will give you a wider scope on this difficulty level.

Are you eager to meet your squad mates?

Are you eager to meet your squad mates?

If you haven’t yet checked out the cinematic trailer of Mass Effect: Andromeda, check it out here.

A new trailer titled, “Andromeda Initiative” is a briefing of the game by one of your squad mates. Eager to know more? Read on.

Scott and Sarah Ryder
You will be playing as either Scott or Sarah. As the children of the pathfinder, you will taking that role inherited from your dad. Though not sure about their individual characters, it is totally your choice to pick the right dialogue options in the game.

This is Cora Harper
She will do the role of the squad’s operation specialist. Oh!, and by the way, she is a biotic and served with Asari commandos. If I were you, I wouldn’t mess with her and get paralyzed.

Next up is Liam
He looks pretty organised and prepared to me. He will be the “crisis response” specialist of your squad. He will be operating behind curtains to respond to critical situations, especially when you are getting owned by the alien races out there.

Meet Drack
I guess this beast will be the perfect “Crisis Response”. Every team needs a tank, and this is going to be one. Being man-handled and getting your head smashed open, looks like a good option to calm things down in a situation.

She has a lineage to the Asari. Being an adventurer, she figured out being a part of our squad is one way to do it.

Finally, you have Kallo
He is a Salarian and performs the role of a pilot. Having said that, he won’t be a part of any ground missions.

The briefing ends there. I’ll be back on more updates, if new recruits are added to the squad. Until then, Good luck!

A couple more added to the list of backwards compatibile games

A couple more added to the list of backwards compatibile games

Microsoft has been making huge transitions for the backwards compatibility program.

If you aren’t aware of the term backwards compatibility, it simply mean that games from the older platforms can now be played on the newer ones. Hence, Xbox 360’s games can be played on Xbox one.

Coming back to the list of games, recent additions were Rocket Knight and Shadows of the damned. Microsoft has already added 15 titles to the catalog this month and some of them are big ones.

Check out this huge list of 300 games which are going to appear in Xbox one. The new additions are made bold.
